Miss T - The hardest secret to keep!

I decided to do a shoot after a friend suggested it. She had done one for her husband's wedding present and I thought it would be a great gift for my future husband :) I was very nervous the last couple days leading up to my shoot. I was worried that I wouldn't like the way I looked in the pictures but I knew Shalista did a great job by looking at her gallery beforehand. When I arrived at the studio Shalista greeted me and showed me around. It was helpful to hear the process of how the shoot would go and what to expect. Once I sat in the chair to get my hair and make up done my nerves were instantly gone! Lacey made me feel very comfortable and excited for my shoot!! 

I showed Shalista the items that I had and asked her opinion on what to wear. She was very helpful with ideas on what would work best and how to still be versatile. Normally I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around in front of someone I just met in any of the outfits that I brought (honestly I don't even like wearing swimming suits ha!), but she makes you feel so comfortable and confident in yourself during the shoot. During the shoot I felt very calm and honestly it was all because of Shalista! She was great with coaching me through the poses which is what I was most nervous about! 

When I went to go see my images and pick out the ones I wanted in my book I was shocked! I didn't expect to see myself and be as happy as I was with the final images. It was so difficult narrowing down the images I wanted for the final book! This experience was so empowering and gave me confidence in myself. It's easy to pick yourself apart and not be happy with certain parts of yourself but this experience can help change that! 

I can honestly say this was the HARDEST secret to keep from my husband!! There were multiple times I almost broke down and gave him his gift early, but I am so happy I waited! I gave him the book the night before the wedding before we said goodnight and his reaction was the absolute best! I would recommend this experience to any of my friends!! I can't wait to do another shoot :)
