Why “maybe someday” should be today…experience boudoir photography with Shalista in Savannah!

Prior to the shoot, I was nervous, but so very excited! I was wondering if the outfits I chose would work, if I would pose the right way, and what I would look like in the photos.

After the shoot, I felt confident and beautiful in a way I never felt before. I was so glad I made the decision to finally fulfill what I had put off for so long.

I tell my friends that this is definitely a confidence booster and to not be hesitant if they are considering doing this. This photo shoot was an unforgettable experience for me

I was nervous the few weeks prior to the session. I went into numerous stores trying outfits to wear and hoping that I made the right choices. My fingers were crossed as I'm one of these women that wears flannel to bed, lol.

I've always wanted to do a boudoir session. I was always hesitant and kept putting it off and telling myself, "maybe someday". Years had gone by and the "someday" never came. I happened to come across Shalista's website and after looking at the online pictures of the women that looked so confident and beautiful, I decided to make the "someday" a reality and booked the session.

When I arrived for the session, those nervous feelings started to go away, and I got more and more excited! I was introduced to the artist that would be doing my hair and makeup. I had never had anyone do this for me, so I felt as if I was getting the "star" treatment. It was awesome!

During the first part of photoshoot, I keep asking Shalista if my body was in the right position, if my hands were placed correctly etc. I was so afraid I was going to do it wrong.

However, I realized that she was doing an excellent job of guiding me along the whole way. She made me feel comfortable and soon all those fears went away. I have to say that I was somewhat saddened when the shoot was over. I wanted to keep going because I was having so much fun and enjoying the experience!

When Shalista showed me the images, I couldn't believe it. A smile immediately came to my face. I couldn't believe it was me in the pictures. I was seeing myself as beautiful in my own skin... a way that I'd never seen myself before. Having this boudoir session was one of the best things I've ever done for myself, and I definitely see another one in my future!
